Applying methods and perspectives from ethnomusicology: de-centring the Eurocentric aesthetic imagination in creative practice (seminar)

The Royal Birmingham Conservatoire Composers’ Seminar was the highlight of my week during my undergraduate studies in composition. It was an honour and a joy to return to the department to deliver a seminar on de-centring the Eurocentric aesthetic imagination and working with the reconfigured musical ontology that I developed during my PhD research.
