Dr Pete Yelding

This composition for Kuljit Bhamra, using his newly developed tabla notation system, was scored for tabla, harp and marimba. It was commissioned as one of Sound and Music’s 2017 Portfolio projects. I explicitly used elements of raga-based material and the building blocks of a Hindustani music composition for this piece.
